The Smithy
The cottage is comfortably furnished throughout and comprises of:
Ground Floor
- ENTRANCE HALL - Laminate flooring, night storage heater, inter-linked smoke detector.
- KITCHEN - Fitted kitchen with fridge, built-in fan oven, 4-ring hob and extractor hood. Exposed timber beam. A full inventory of glass, china and cooking utensils is provided together with microwave, toaster and electric kettle.
- LOUNGE/DINING ROOM - Sliding D/G glass doors to hall, night storage heater, inter-linked smoke detector, stairs to first floor. Exposed timber beam. Easterly views to farmland and woods with french doors opening onto a paved patio area & small lawn. Furnished with Colour TV/DVD (Freesat from Sky), radio/CD, books, DVDs and games. Optiflame electric heater.
First Floor
- LANDING - Inter-linked smoke detector.
- BATHROOM - White suite/gold plated fittings with WC, wash-hand basin and bath with shower attachment. Velux window. Panel heater and extractor fan.
- BEDROOM 1 - Far reaching northerly views to Charmouth forest. Night storage heater. Double bed.
- BEDROOM 2 - Night storage heater. Bunk beds.
Outside
Each cottage has a small paved patio with table & chairs, and a small lawned area with a path leading to a large gravel car park. You are also welcome to use the small adjacent paddock for barbecues, games, etc. A mobile barbeque is available (charcoal and lighters provided).
Other Information
Bed linen and towels provided (one bath towel and one hand towel per person - but please supply your own beach towels). Electricity is included in the price. 50% Deposit is required when booking, the remainder is due 2 weeks before arrival - for full details please click on PRICES & AVAILABILITY.
A cot is also available - please advise when booking.
Please Note: Water is from a private spring-fed supply that meets all the statutory regulations for drinking water.
